About Stanley Gleason-Allured

With the cost of a transplant often exceeding $500,000, transplant patients are unable to shoulder the financial burden of such a procedure. The Children’s Organ Transplant Association (COTA) is a national charity dedicated to organizing and guiding communities in raising funds for transplant-needy patients like 6-month-old Stanley Gleason-Allured in Brooklyn, New York.

Born in January 2016, Stanley was diagnosed with biliary atresia in March, and doctors at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City have recommended a life-saving liver transplant. An estimated $75,000 is being raised by local volunteers.
